"We rented an RV for our Alaska..."
We rented an RV for our Alaska trip, and it ended up being one of the most practical choices we made. Pickup was simple, the RV was clean and ready to go, and the staff were really helpful with all our first-timer questions. It made it easy to see more places without constantly packing up or figuring out hotels. We’d definitely do it again

"We had the RV for 9 days..."
We had the RV for 9 days and, uh, it ran really well the whole time. No issues with the engine or brakes, and it felt solid mechanically. The heater was a bit noisy, and pickup took longer than we expected, so I’m giving it 4 stars.

"My first reaction was, wow, this is a..."
My first reaction was, wow, this is a lot, but the orientation at Great Alaskan Holidays ended up being super helpful. They went through the RV step by step, didn’t rush us, and answered every question we had, even the ones that probably sounded obvious.
The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is that after traveling all day, I was kind of ready to just be done. But once we were actually on the road, I was really glad they took the time. I’d definitely use them again.

"The slow replies were stressful"
The trip itself was alright, but getting answers from customer service took forever. I had to follow up more than once, and it made the whole planning part kinda frustrating. It wasn’t terrible or anything, just not a great experience...

Yeah, so before our trip, I had a few questions and they got back to me really fast, which was super helpful. Like, it just made everything feel a lot easier and less stressful.

"Wish more rentals made deposits this easy"
I wish I’d dealt with places like this sooner. The insurance was explained clearly, and the deposit terms felt fair without any weird surprises. It was nice knowing exactly what I owed before the trip, so I didn’t have to stress about it later. Easy overall...

They had a good selection of RVs, and I was able to find one I liked quickly. I still took my time looking things over and making sure it felt like the right fit before moving forward, but overall it was a smooth experience

"Pretty good rental, just keep an eye on the miles"
Overall it was a good rental. The mileage setup was fine for what we needed, and the generator fees were laid out clear enough. Just make sure you’re paying attention to the miles so there aren’t any surprises.

We rented from Great Alaskan Holidays, the whole fuel and propane part was way easier than I thought it would be. They clearly pointed out what was full, what needed to be topped off, and even checked the propane before we pulled out. I liked that there weren’t any odd little surprise charges afterward either. After a long trip, that simple, fair process made a big difference.

After dealing with airports and all the usual travel hassle, I was just happy the shuttle pickup was easy. It was convenient, showed up without any drama, and saved me from having to figure out another ride.

"The RV was actually in good..."
The RV was actually in good shape overall. It was clean inside, ran well, and only had a few small dents on the outside. I kind of regret not taking a longer trip with it because it ended up being a solid rental.

"Had pretty much everything we needed"
The RV was stocked really well overall. It had plenty of kitchen stuff, bedding, and even some tools, which was super helpful. There were a couple small things missing here and there, but nothing that caused any issues. Overall, we had pretty much everything we needed.

I don’t know, it just had that cozy feel as soon as we settled in. Spent the whole week inside the RV feeling comfortable and relaxed, and my gut says that’s exactly what made the trip so easy to enjoy.

"Sooo easy to cancel when our plans changed"
We had to cancel our RV trip at the last minute, i was expecting it to be a whole stressful thing. But it was waaaay easier than I thought. They were really fair about everything and took the time to explain it all clearly, which I appreciated a lot.

We picked up the RV after grabbing coffee on the way, and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was inside. Like, really clean. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of, which made getting settled in so much easier

"Really friendly staff"
Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and easy to talk to. They answered all our questions without making it feel like we were bothering them or being rushed, which I really appreciated. Pickup and drop off were both smooth too. I don’t know, it just kind of set a good tone for the whole trip. I’d definitely use them again

Had to wait a little at dropoff. Not a huge deal, just kind of dragged for a minute. The staff jumped in and got it sorted though. Easy enough in the end

"Roadside help showed up faster than I expected"
I’m already a bit biased toward services that don’t leave you waiting forever, and these guys won me over. We were stuck on the side of the road, but help got there quick and had us moving again in no time...
